If “Christmas in July” wasn’t an official thing before, this definitely change some minds.  The Hallmark Channel‘s huge library of cheery holiday movies will be playing for 17 days straight during the mid-summer month of July.  They’re calling it the “Keepsake Christmas” movie marathon.  Starting July 10th and running through the 27th, the Hallmark Channel will play a whopping 9 to 12 Christmas movies A DAY.

Don’t go looking for Die Hard nor A Christmas Story, these are only those cheesy Hallmark Channel originals.  You can check out the full list at People.com.

So, if you’re just looking for a pure feel-good movie… for 17 full days, The Hallmark Channel will have you covered.  Malls seem to put up Christmas decorations in September now, so why not start celebrating December 25th 5 MONTHS before the date??
