The CTA took to Twitter to let riders know that they may once again enter buses at the front door. For several months, riders were forced to board at the rear door, often requiring a Ventra card to ride. Now with the change, passengers can once again pay for rides with case at the front door’s entrance.
Starting Sunday, rear-door boarding on CTA buses will end. As we begin to welcome people back, riders will return to boarding at the front as we’ve taken many steps to provide the healthiest environment possible for customers and employees.
