The newest trailer for the upcoming Aretha Franklin biopic, “RESPECT,” debuted during last night’s BET Awards. The upcoming film, starring Jennifer Hudson as the, “Queen of Soul,” follows the rise of Franklin’s career from a child singing in her father’s church’s choir to her international superstardom.
The movie is set for limited release on Christmas Day this year and wide release on January 15th, 2021.
