Town where parts of “Purple Rain” was shot puts up life-sized Prince statue

As if Prince fans needed another reason to visit Henderson, Minnesota!  Now they got one!  The midwest town where a number of iconic scenes from Prince’s film, “Purple Rain,” just erected a life-sized statue of the late pop legend!

As you can see in the video, you can find the statue surrounded by purple flowers and near a mural of Prince leaning on a “Little Red Corvette.”  FYI: If you couldn’t guess the height of the statue from the video, Prince’s known height was 5’2″.
