Mayor Lightfoot lays out hybrid schooling model: 2 days at-home learning, 2 days in person and 1 day of virtual classes

This school year is going to be a very different one for Chicago students…

Mayor Lori Lightfoot has laid out a plan for the fall that will see Chicago Public School students returning to class two times a week.  The plan also details students having two days of at-home learning and a day of virtual real-time classes.  This plan applies to children grades kindergarten through 10th grade.

High school juniors and seniors will be learning from home while pre-schoolers will attend class everyday.  This plan could change at anytime should we face another wave of coronavirus.
