Head down this alley way in Ukraine Village and you’ll find the brand new, “Pizza Friendly Pizza.”  The new pizzeria that opens this Wednesday, July 29th, will offer Sicilian-styled pizza by the slice and full pizza pies!

We’re just about ready to open this dang slice shop, and we want to give the neighborhood a sneak peek. We’ll be open at our alleyway entrance on Saturday and Sunday from 4:30 until we run out, giving out free slices to the fine residents of 60622 (one slice of pizza per guest). We’ll also have our full menu available for purchase, with all proceeds going to charity – Saturday's sales to @onemilliondegrees, Sunday's to @myblockmyhoodmycity. Come on by, neighbors! **Enter through the back alley off Cortez or Thomas, not the front door on Western**

The new restaurant also serves three stacked sandwiches, salads and bread sticks.  Remind you, this is all done IN AN ALLEY.  A very scenic alley, yes, but wouldn’t it be fun to tell your family or friends where dinner came from?
