Dress Code For Remote Elearning?!

A school district in Springfield, Illinois has updated their dress code policy for remote elearning, making it clear that all dress code rules when school is in session still apply. This means “Hats, caps, bandanas, hoods of any type, sweatbands, sunglasses, pajama pants, slippers, or shoes with wheels attached to the bottom shall not be worn”. Really, no pajama pants when schooling from the comfort of home? Glad my job doesn’t have that rule. No slippers, no problem – my son will likely be barefoot or possibly wearing socks when he begins his sophomore year remote elearning. Good thing we don’t live in Springfield.
