Ronald Bell, co-founder of Kool & The Gang, died yesterday at his home in the Virgin Islands.  There’s no word on the cause of death.

Ronald and his brother Robert “Kool” Bell were among the founders of the band back in 1964.  Ronald had a hand in writing and composing some of the band’s biggest songs, including Celebration, Ladies Night, Cherish, Jungle Boogie, and Summer Madness.
