Vinyl outsold CDs this year for first time since 1980s

Americans appear to be listening to music more during the coronavirus pandemic, and they’re doing more of their listening on vinyl!

A mid-year report from the Recording Industry Association of America said that vinyl outsold CDs for the first time since the 1980s. Vinyl revenue was up four percent during the first half of the year while CD revenue was down 48 percent.

Vinyl will never die!
