Jim Carrey is taking on the role of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden on Saturday Night Live. SNL creator Lorne Michael said of the casting: “There was some interest on his part. Then we responded, obviously, positively. But it came down to discussions about what the take was. He and Colin Jost had a bunch of talks. He and I as well. He will give the part energy and strength, and… hopefully it’s funny.”
Jim Carrey is no stranger to political humor. The comedian recently shared his painting of Mayor “Gooliani” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. If this clip doesn’t get you excited to see Carrey take on Biden, I don’t know what will!
