Apparently, there’s a lot of Plain Jane’s when it comes to pizza throughout Illinois. A study by Zippia found that the most popular way to order pizza in Illinois and even most states in America is just plain cheese. In fact, our state is surrounded by cheese lovers: Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kentucky ALL prefer their pizzas with cheese alone. That goes the same for 24 more states. Iowa, our only bordering state with a different taste of their own, preferred TACO pizza. Go figure!
