It’s singer, composer and guitarist, Bryan Adams‘ birthday!!  The Canadian Classic Hits artist has been giving us memorable song after memorable song since 1983 (and not since the summer of ’69).  From radio to film, Adams’ tunes have found their way into our ears.  So, there’s no better way that I can think of to celebrate Bryan Adams birthday than by listening to his music!

Here is a list of songs, in no particular order, to celebrate with…

Summer of ’69 (1985) – Bryan Adams took people in the mid ’80s back to their childhood in the late ’60s with this classic hit.  A true summer anthem!!

Here I am (1999) – This song was conceived for the DreamWorks animated film, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron and would go on to be a very popular single by Adams.  Fun fact: Adams even recorded a French version called “Me voilà.”

Run To You (1984) – A certified Classic Hit that’s even fun to run to!  Try it out!!

Somebody (1985) – Stewart Mason from Allmusic once said about ‘Somebody,’ that it, “Has a chorus so simple and catchy that you can actually sing along to it even if you’ve never actually heard the song before.”  If this song is new to you, give it a try and see if you can easily sing along too!

All For Love ft. Rod Stewart and Sting (1993) – Recorded for the soundtrack for the 1993 film, “The Three Musketeers,” the song teams up ‘Three Classic Hits Musketeers’ for this power ballad.

Straight From The Heart (1983) – …And straight to our ears!  This lead single from the album, “Cuts Like A Knife,” gave Bryan Adams his first taste of U.S. Top 40.  This classic was many American’s first exposure to Adams.

(Everything I Do) I Do For You (1991) – You may recognize this one from the soundtrack of “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.”  This song has seen international popularity and been covered many singers and musicians from around the world.

Heaven (1983) – This piece of heaven was first released in the, “A Night in Heaven,” soundtrack before being a single for his album “Reckless.”  Heaven is a classic ballad that was actually influenced by Journey‘s “Faithfully,” and even features their drummer Steve Smith.

Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman? (1995) – Featured frequently in various forms in the ’95 film “Don Juan DeMarco,” for which it was written, the song saw acclaim in the form of an Oscar nomination for the Canadian Classic Hits artist.

Cuts Like a Knife (1983) – This rock anthem ‘feels alright!’ and will have you singing “Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na!” along with the birthday boy!
