Christmas isn’t canceled and neither are the CTA‘s annual contributions to the holidays.  The Holiday Train and Bus are making their return to Chicago this year.  If you’ve ever worked in The Loop or visited during the holiday season, you know the excitement of spotting those festive modes of transportation.

In case you’ve never spotted them, the CTA posted a video on their YouTube channel promoting their holiday train and bus last year…

The bad news is, you won’t be able to ride them.  The city does not want crowds gathering and therefore, The Holiday Train and Bus are just for show this year.

So have your phones ready to film or shoot pics if you’re in or around The Loop; you never know when you’ll spot Jolly Old St. Nick on his Holiday Train… unless you check out the CTA’s website for its schedule!
