It’s ironic that after so many have compared living through the pandemic to experiencing what Bill Murray‘s Phil Connors in the classic comedy Groundhog Day, the holiday celebrations are being canceled.

Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania has canceled the annual ceremony for Groundhog Day next year.  The action comes from an effort to reduce gathering crowds.  They’ll still hold the event, but with no crowd, so you’ll only be able to watch it online.  That means we’ll still be able get our spring weather forecast from the most reliable source of course!
