‘Christmas Star’ not seen in 800 years returning for Christmas week this year

Look up in the sky on December 21st and you’ll see one VERY bright star… only it isn’t a star.  For this year’s winter solstice, Jupiter and Saturn are going to align so close that they appear to be one very bright ‘Christmas Star’ or ‘Star of Bethlehem.’

According to astronomer, Patrick Hartigan, the last time this occurred was on March 4, 1226 and we won’t see anything like it again until 2080.  So, if you miss it this time, you may be S.O.L.
