No, your Christmas Tree does NOT go into the trash!  Starting next Saturday, January 9th, 2021, you’ll be able to recycle your holiday tree for free at one of 25 sites set up by the Chicago Park District.  Just make sure you ONLY drop off natural trees; no garlands or wreaths.  AND grab your free mulch while you’re at it!

The program runs through Saturday, January 23rd.  Check out Recycle By City‘s full list of 25 locations including Grant Park, Lincoln Park and Humboldt Park Boathouse locations.
