Legendary broadcaster Larry King has passed away at the age of 87. The television and radio host passed after weeks of battling COVID-19. I learned so much from him regarding how to interview guests, such as his famous line “I’ve never learned anything while I was talking”. If a guest was promoting a book he never read it, he asked questions that anyone else who hadn’t read the book would be wondering. He didn’t just spew a bunch of questions, he actually listened therefore his interviews were perfect.

Larry King once did a book signing at Anderson’s Bookstore and was very friendly, personable and just happy to get to see and interact with his fans.
