Jameson Whiskey would like you to take St. Patrick’s Day off of work, and will potentially pay you to do so. In a news release released Wednesday, February 17th, the brand announced it’s encouraging people to take “SPTO” (St. Patrick’s Time Off) to kick back and celebrate on March 17th.
It’s also offering adults in the U.S. (ages 21+) to enter the limited-time sweepstakes for a chance to win $50 to use on their day off. The SPTO sweepstakes ends at midnight on March 7th. Jameson says 1,000 people will be awarded the prize money, with an additional $50 donated on behalf of each winner to the Restaurant Workers Community Foundation.
