Flashback to the year 2000 when Saturday Night Live first aired their, ‘More Cowbell’ sketch.  The skit centers around the premise of Blue Oyster Cult recording their future hit, “Don’t Fear The Reaper.”

Christopher Walken plays producer Bruce Dickinson, who could use, “More cowbell!”

The sketch is cemented in SNL history due in part to Will Ferrell‘s gut, Walken’s enthusiasm for cowbell, and Jimmy Fallon‘s inability to keep a straight face through the skit.
