The newest Covid shortage is bubble tea!  There’s a shortage of the boba balls, and ALSO a shortage of the tapioca starch that’s used to make them.  According to the San Francisco Chronicle, one importer says, quote, “In the next week or so, tapioca will be a luxury!”
