Imagine looking out your window and seeing a tiger prowling. Footage recently surfaced on Twitter that shows a tiger roaming around a Houston, Texas neighborhood. The big cat apparently got loose from a nearby home where it was seemingly being kept as a pet. The video shows the tiger coming within a few feet of a nearby homeowner as it wanders the streets on Sunday night, May 9th.

The man in the video pulls out a gun as the tiger approaches, and fortunately, the tiger does not attack him. Fox news reports the armed man was actually an off-duty sheriff’s deputy that said he only pointed his weapon at the tiger to protect the neighborhood. Witnesses say a man came out of the house to get the tiger, and the off-duty deputy and the tiger owner argued about the incident briefly, before the owner entered the home with the animal. A short time later, the same man came outside with the tiger and loaded it into his SUV before driving off before authorities could arrive at the scene.
