Portillo’s will open drive-thru only location

This winter, an experimental Portillo’s will open up in Joliet. What sets this location aside from others is you can’t eat in it.

Portillo’s is trying out their first drive-thru-only location in the Chicago suburb. It’ll be called, “Portillo’s Pick Up.” Construction hasn’t started yet and there are no plans to make additional Pick Up locations yet.

Is this the future of food??
