A book claims that Portland is the best city for pizza in the U.S.

Before you grab your pitchforks and take to Twitter, to be fair, this book looks really cool for any pizza-lover.  Modernist Pizza is a pizza cook book… that’s more than a pizza cook book.  The cook will go into details on the best food ever’s history, techniques and ingredients and, of course, recipes for great pizzas from all over.

You’d better LOVE pizza if you want this book.  It’s listed for a whopping $425.00 on Amazon (discounted to $382.50 as of July 20th).  That’s a lot of dough to be told Chicago doesn’t have the best pizza!
