Pokémon Go! Fest returns to Chicago this Saturday, July 24th.
In past years, the mobile game based on the popular franchise has hold events in Grant Park and Lincoln Park.
This year, Pokémon Go! Fest will take place at Maggie Daley Park and feature a 50-foot-tall egg. For those who haven’t played the game, a big part of it requires walking around until you’ve reached a certain distance to hatch an egg carrying a new creature inside. So yeah, it’s not random; eggs are a thing in the game.
NBC Chicago reports that rare Pokémon will be projected onto the egg. The fest will take place from 10AM to 6PM.
