Cook County recommending masks indoors as Covid cases surge

It was nice while it lasted…

Cook County is now joining the CDC in recommending masks when in an indoor setting and while at crowded outdoor events, whether you are vaccinated or not.  The recommendation is meant for those 2-years-old and up.  This recommendation comes as Covid cases are on the rise all over the country.

To be clear: this is not a mandate… yet.  But as the delta variant continues to spread, that could change.

Day 3 of Lollapalooza saw organizers requiring masks for attendees and now the Art Institute of Chicago is requiring masks for entry.

The CDC is saying that those who are not vaccinated are at the highest risk.
