A woman in England recently ordered a pizza from Domino’s, and halfway through, she discovered a metal NUT and BOLT seemingly baked into the cheese.
Thankfully, she didn’t eat them, but they were small enough that they weren’t obvious. The nut looked like it could be an errant black olive, and the bolt might look like a little mushroom.
Naturally, she complained, and Domino’s refunded the cost of the pizza.
It’s unclear what happened . . . but a spokesperson said this sort of thing is “extremely rare,” which is good to know. They also talked to the employees, and “reminded” them of “the correct process to avoid any future issues.”
