In spring of last year, animals were being adopted left-and-right as people were stuck at home. Unfortunately, a lot of those pets have returned to the shelters and they’re now filling to capacity.
Not all animal shelters are no-kill. So with shelters filling up, options need to be considered. Thankfully, no-kill shelter, PAWS Chicago is stepping up to help crowded shelters, by taking animals off the hands of some of those overfilled shelters.
But that may not be enough.
If you are looking to adopt, and REALLY commit, now’s a good time to save a life and provide a forever home to a furry friend.
And some are accepting donations to help feed and shelter homeless pets.
