PAWS Chicago sent volunteers to retrieve animals that came from shelters that were ravaged by Hurricane Ida. The efforts have been successful so far: they’ve already brought in 40 animals (including 15 dogs and 23 cats) to their Chicago shelter.
HURRICANE IDA RELIEF: This afternoon, we welcomed 38 cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies to PAWS Chicago from eight Louisiana Shelters.

The no-kill organization is asking for donations, anyone willing to foster pets and volunteers to help these pets in need.
