Never have I ever thought of Chicago first when the word, “Retirement,” came up… and apparently neither did U.S. News and World Report. In fact, we were the 87th best in their mind.

The report ranked 150 locations in the U.S. and determined which was best for retirement based on categories like happiness, retiree taxes and health care quality.

Chicago is inconsistent when it comes to quality of living for retirees: it comes down to what part of Chicago you’re living in!
