There’s going to be a first-ever fan gathering called “Golden Con: Thank You for Being a Fan” next year. It’ll take place in Chicago during the weekend of April 22nd.
Organizers are “working diligently” to get the last Golden Girl standing, Betty White, to appear in some capacity.
She’ll be 100 by the time convention rolls around, and she hasn’t been seen publicly in a while, so it’s hard to believe she’d show up in person.
But there will be, quote, “guest stars, producers, and others directly connected with the show” . . . plus a lineup of activities like a “Greatest Gift” vendor market, photo-ops, live parody shows, and a costume parade.
