Tim Allen will star in and produce a limited “Santa Clause” series for Disney+.

It’ll be about how his character, Scott, who is going to be turning 65 and begins to realize that he needs to find a replacement Santa Claus so he can return to the normal world with his family.

A release date hasn’t been announced, but production is supposed to start in March. So Christmas season 2022?

The original The Santa Clause film released in 1994 and spawned 2 sequels. All 3 movies are available for streaming on Disney+.
