Amy Schneider‘s Jeopardy! winning streak came to an end last night (January 26th) after 40 straight victories, the second-most ever behind only Ken Jennings‘ 74, during which she won nearly $1.4 million.
Schneider was dethroned by Chicago librarian, Rhone Talsma, who correctly answered the Final Jeopardy question for a total of $29,600. Schneider didn’t write down a response and came in second with $19,600.

The question she missed was: “The only nation whose name in English ends in an, ‘h,’ and which is also one of the 10 most populous.” The correct answer was: “What is Bangladesh?”
Schneider will be part of Jeopardy!’s “Tournament of Champions.”
