Study says drink three cups of coffee a day to live longer—But not instant coffee

A ten-year study of nearly 500,000 people found those who regularly drink coffee were up to 12 percent less likely to die and were up to 20 percent less likely to develop cardiovascular disease or suffer a stroke.

Researchers from two universities found that these benefits only came from consuming ground coffee—not instant varieties—and that drinking more than three cups a day did not have the same protective effect.
