Could you imagine a NASCAR street circuit taking place in The Loop? This sounds like a really fun level in a video game, but the idea is currently in talks to become a reality!

NASCAR wants to add street racing to their yearly series. And there’s a lot of interest in kicking off this new type of racing right here in Chicago. Currently, NASCAR, Mayor Lori Lightfoot, and Sports Commission Exec Dir Kara Bachman are in talks to set up a street race as soon as 2023.

Dave and Kim would love to see the racers take to Lower Wacker for their Chicago circuit. I would think they should race LCD from Marquette to Hollywood for the shortest but most scenic NASCAR race in history.
