Chicago LOVES St. Patrick’s Day and this weekend, the city really gets to show it!

You can catch the Chicago River being turned greener at 10 AM on Saturday morning. The Journeymen Plumbers Local Union 130 is once again heading the festive task that takes around 45 minutes to really get that water shamrock green. The river will remain green for one or two days.

Then, catch a parade! Three St. Patrick’s Day parades kick off at noon on Saturday. You have the South Side Irish Parade, the Northwest Side Irish Parade, and the Archer Avenue parade. Take your pick!
