Dolly Parton‘s announcement that she was “bowing out” of consideration for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, may end up guaranteeing that she’ll eventually get in…

Everyone on the Internet loved that she rose above all the negativity, with many people calling it a “rock star move.”  When she hinted about “putting out a great rock album in the future.” And everyone said, yes, do that.

And if she’d like some help, she can reach out to Nancy Wilson of Heart.  Here’s what she said in an interview on Monday: quote, “[Dolly’s] a class act to have done that.  It makes me wanna write a rock record with her.  I should give her a call.  She can do anything.  She’s written some of the best songs in our history.  She can do it.”

Rock producer Steve Albini is tossing his name into the ring: he reTweeted Dolly’s announcement, and wrote, quote, “Dolly Parton, do you like analog recording?”
