A Florida school’s swim team practice was delayed by an alligator last week.

According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were able to use a safety hook to remove the three-foot gator from the pool at Montverde Academy. He was brought to Lake Apopka where the alligator “was released on its own recognizance.”
