At the end of every day, so much food that didn’t sell gets thrown away by restaurants. That’s where this app comes in…

Too Good To Go is an app that you can easily download on your phone and use to purchase leftovers from Chicago restaurants. To be clear: these are not leftovers scraped off a diner’s table. It’s the food that was prepared in those restaurants but didn’t sell that day.

The Chicago Tribune put the app to the test and found many offerings for as low as 4 to 5 dollars in price. One excellent purchase they made was that of two massive pepperoni pizza slices from Bocci for only $4.99.
