Mad Max: Fury Road beats Godfather Part II as Best Sequel of All Time

It’s hard to make a great movie… it’s way harder to do it a second time. But great sequels to great movies do exist!

Vulture assembled a list of the ‘101 Best Movie Sequels of All Time.’ And the list is a combination of the usual greats and many you’ve likely never heard of.

The top 10 of the list were…

3. Through the Olive Trees (1994)
4. Creed (2015)
5. Aliens (1986)
6. Bride of Frankenstein (1935)
7. Blade II (2002)
8. 35 Up (1992)
9. Three Colors: Red (1994)
10. Babe: Pig in the City (1998)

It may be strange to not see The Godfather Part II in the #1 spot. What was even more surprising was Creed being chosen as the best Rocky sequel… Did they forget Rocky II exists??
