
Anyone that’s ever watched a slapstick cartoon knows that dogs and postal workers are sworn enemies. The U.S. Postal Service released a list of the top cities where dog attacks against their workers took place most. Chicago made the top 10!
These aren’t low numbers: nearly 6,000 reported attacks of dogs against postal employees occur each year!

- Houston, TX — 54 attacks
- Kansas City, MO — 48 attacks
- Los Angeles, CA — 44 attacks
- Louisville, KY — 42 attacks
- Dallas, TX — 38 attacks
- St. Louis, MO — 36 attacks
- Chicago, IL — 35 attacks
- Detroit, MI — 34 attacks
- Philadelphia, PA — 32 attacks
Illinois also made the top 10, when it came to the states with the most dog-on-postal-worker attacks!
