People are loving the Top Gun sequel!

Top Gun: Maverick has brought in more than $800 million at the box office. Who knew people were clambering for a sequel to the ’80s classic? Who knew that sequel could be so good??

The movie is Tom Cruise’s highest-grossing film to date. That means Maverick has left every Mission Impossible flick in the dust.

While the film is tracking great, it is not likely to cross the billion-dollar line. This is due to Maverick not receiving a China release. China is a massive market for movies and this one just won’t be enjoyed in mainland China movie theaters.
