Chicago Bears’ Arlington Park renovation might include a Minor League Baseball Complex

The Chicago Bears will likely be finalizing their Arlington Park purchase in 2023, but a new football field isn’t all the team has in mind…

Someday we may very well be watching our Bears play in da ‘burbs. The Bears made it known of their intentions to buy the iconic Arlington Heights racetrack with their intention seeming to be to move the team out there when they are through with their Soldier Field contract (or maybe even sooner).

It is also possible that the location will play host to minor league baseball! The Chicago Tribune obtained documents from the village that showed an additional minor league baseball complex proposed by William Larsen. Larsen is the former general manager of the Kane County Cougars.

Will we see a new rival for local minor league teams the Schaumburg Boomers and Chicago Dogs? We might!
