There’s going to be a Goat Parade on the Chicago River Today

So this is a thing that’s happening in Chicago…

ComEd will hold a goat parade on the Chicago River today (August 31st). Why goats from ComEd, you might ask? Well, it’s because ComEd actually uses goats to clear vegetation in Illinois where plants may disrupt power lines and cause outages.

So as a way to celebrate the end of summer, you can check out this quirky demonstration from noon to 3 PM. The 5 boat parade kicks off at the City Winery Dock.
