Chicago Bears lost to the Giants… and the Arlington Heights board will be voting to make taxpayers pay for subsidies to the team

The Chicago Bears are now 2-2 in their 2022-23 season. Chicago’s team lost to the New York Giants on Sunday, 20-12.

And it turns out Arlington Heights residents will be paying the bills when the Chicago team moves to the burbs. The Arlington Heights board is expected to reject a petition that would prohibit taxpayer money from being used as subsidies for the development of the Chicago Bears suburban stadium complex.
