Hall of Fame manager Tony La Russa announces he is retiring from managing on Monday, just weeks after leaving the Chicago White Sox for a medical procedure.
The skipper leaves the game as one of the most accomplished managers in Major League history. In his 35 years as a manager, La Russa won 2,897 games and three World Series titles.
