The 70th Chicago Columbus Day Parade is today (October 10th) at 1 PM. The Parade marches down State Street from Wacker Drive to Van Buren Street. You can catch the live broadcast on ABC 7 Chicago.
Meanwhile, a two-day Chicago Indigenous People’s Day event has been taking place: yesterday (October 9th) at the Logan Square Auditorium and today at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Lincoln Square. This event features demonstrations and talks presented by Native American artists and tribal members.
