Metallica is coming to Soldier Field for Two Nights next August

Metallica has dropped the first single from the band’s upcoming album and unveiled the tour dates for a major 2023/2024 tour dubbed M72. The band’s 12th album, titled 72 Seasons, drops on April 14th with the new single, titled, “Lux AEterna” translating from Latin to mean “Eternal Light.”

Rolling Stone reported, “Metallica will play two nights in every city on the tour — with set lists that won’t repeat songs night to night — and various North American dates will see support from the reunited Pantera, as well as Mammoth WVHFive Finger Death PunchIce Nine Kills, and Greta Van Fleet. Tickets go on sale December 2nd.”
