A video of a motorist driving on Indianapolis’ frozen Downtown Canal has gone viral on TikTok. Several residents were ice skating on Christmas night when Biankia Gleason drove onto the ice because her GPS told her to. Her 2015 Chevy Malibu eventually fell through the ice into the water.

Resident Jacob Aldrich ended up pulling Gleason out of the vehicle. “She wasn’t looking to get out, so I just jumped in,” he said.
One witness suggested putting a barrier in the area so vehicles cannot drive through the area. Gleason was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
