The newest season of Magnum P.I. is going to be “sexier” as the show makes its NBC debut.

Showrunner Eric Guggenheim says the upcoming fifth season is more romantic and more emotional.

The show was cancelled by CBS before being saved by NBC last summer. Guggenheim also addressed the channel change saying that the move to the new network has been “seamless.”

The show is based on the ’80s series of the same name.
