Study finds Queen, Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC are the Most Listened-To Classic Rock Artists in the World

What’s the PLANET listening to most?

Liberty Games asked this question when conducting a study on the most listened-to artists. They took data from YouTube Video Music Charts in the last 12 months to figure out the most listened-to artists throughout the world, the most listened-to artists in individual countries, and the most listened-to artists per several genres.

What they found was that the most listened-to artist in the world was Alka Yagnik, an Indian playback singer heard mostly in Indian movies. Focusing on the U.S., the number one artist was YoungBoy Never Broke Again. He’s an American rapper from LA.

Now, let’s turn our focus to Classic Rock. In the whole world, Queen was the most listened-to Classic Rock Artist. They were followed by Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, and Metallica. AC/DC was the most listened-to in specifically the U.S.
